PDFdoc — Reader & Editor: Terms of Use
Effective date: 31 October 2026
These terms apply to the Android app PDFdoc — Reader & Editor (package app.pdfdoc) developed by Yurii Khmelovskyi, an individual developer. By installing or using the app you agree to them.
The app
PDFdoc lets you read, annotate, sign, edit, convert, compress and scan PDF documents on your device. The app is free and works offline.
Open source licence
PDFdoc is free software distributed under the GNU General Public License v3 (GPL v3). You may use, study, share and modify it under the terms of that licence: gnu.org/licenses/gpl-3.0. The app also includes third-party open source components under their own licences.
Your documents
You are responsible for the files you open and edit with the app and for having the right to process them. Keep backups of important documents: editing, compressing or converting a file may change it permanently.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, as stated in the GPL v3. We do our best to make it reliable, but we do not guarantee that it is error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any loss of data, documents or other damages resulting from the use of the app.
Privacy
How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: the app collects no data and has no internet access.
Changes
We may update these terms. The new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
